Monster Factory Pro Wrestling is a wrestling school in Paulsboro, NJ that hosts regular shows and holds the most training hours available anywhere, according to the official website. The school is also considered by many to be the first publicly available wrestling school after opening in 1983. The brand’s coaches include former wrestlers including The Blue Meanie and Punishment Martinez, as well as the company’s owner Danny Cage. Their most recent show was on Saturday, December 14th 2019.

Assignment #3: Cookie Munchers
On October 10th to the 12th, I went to Cookie Munchers in Glassboro to see what the life of a Cookie Munchers employee is like. For the most part, Cookie Munchers employees spend a lot of time in a hot kitchen baking cookies, taking orders on the phone, and running out of the store for deliveries. Some of the cookies are already pre-made, however when the supply and demand increases around the late hours, the employees need to make more cookies to meet the amount of orders. Unlike most stores/restaurants on Rowan Blvd. Cookie Munchers is open on weekdays 1pm to 1am and weekends 1pm to 3:30am.

Which Marvel Netflix Hero Kicks the Most Ass? (FINAL)
In 2015, Netflix released Daredevil, the first of six Marvel series that were critically acclaimed and beloved by fans. These shows presented compelling new takes on Marvel characters such as Punisher, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, as well as energetic action and fight scenes.
In late 2018, due to extensive licensing fees and pressure from Disney, Netflix was forced to cancel its line of Marvel shows. But many fans are still devoted.
People still talk about these shows. Most recently, on April 1st, fans took to the forums and chat rooms to discuss their opinions on who is a better fighter: Daredevil or Iron Fist?
Similar to that, one topic still being argued by fans is, who is the best fighter in this universe?
The Method
I set out to answer this question. In watching every episode of all of the Daredevil universe shows, every fight scene was tracked and categorized into wins and losses. The best fighter in this instance will be decided by who has the highest number after wins are divided by losses. Doing this will give an approximate ratio of how many wins a hero can achieve before losing. I avoided fantasy matches that happen in forums and chat rooms and will be using data to answer this question. (For the full rules see the bottom of the article.)
The Winner
When it comes to having the best ratio of wins and losses, surprisingly Iron Fist has the best ratio of 22 wins per loss. Many viewers don’t rate Iron Fist as the best fighter because he tends not to fight a lot. When Rick Marshall, Contributing Editor of Digital Trends and Critic of the Marvel Netflix shows, predicted who had the best ratio of wins and losses, he forgot that Iron Fist was even eligible.
“I forget about Iron Fist because maybe I’m trying to forget about Iron Fist because I wasn’t a big fan of the show,” Marshall said. “He is so much more at the early stage of his progression and his evolution as a character and as a fighter and warrior than Daredevil or Punisher or any of the others that have been doing this for a while. It feels like Iron Fist is still very much the young fresh face in the group.”
Iron Fist ended up claiming the number one spot on this list for two reasons. Firstly, Danny Rand’s loss count is far lower than the other heroes. And secondly, his character tends to secure large amounts of wins to compensate for other episodes where he has low amounts of wins.
Punisher
Punisher managed to grab the second highest amount of wins and managed the second highest ratio with 13 wins per loss. Ivo from PunisherCentral.com, a website literally dedicated to the anti-hero, explains how the Punisher’s fighting style is different from the rest on this list.
“The Defenders rather want to preserve live for believing in rehabilitation and in the justice system,” Ivo said. “The Punisher fights differently, he doesn’t believe in rehab of criminals and tends to kill them. His ways are lethal, unlike the rest of the heroes. Frank Castle seems to use MCMAP, it’s a marine corp fighting style. It’s direct and effective. It’s some sort of mix martial arts style.”
Daredevil
The forerunner of the Marvel shows takes the third highest ratio with 10 wins per loss. Also, with Daredevil having the most screen time out of the rest of the list, it’s no surprise that he claimed the most wins.
Also, Daredevil’s number of wins could’ve been higher. A considerable amount of Daredevil’s wins did not count because they conflicted with the rules. Most notably, his final fight against Kingpin and Bullseye, as well as the consecutive episodes where he teamed with Elektra didn’t count for wins on this list.
Lela E. Buis, who regularly reviews Netflix shows on her blog, explains why she believes Daredevil is the best fighter, regardless of the stats.
“In Season II, Daredevil was clearly an accomplished martial artist with an amazing sixth sense. He and Elektra really took names and kicked ass in those episodes,” Buis said. “But in Season III, he was dealing with injuries and his fighting ability had taken a huge hit. So, in Season III he had to fight smarter and not harder. I’m sure fans that like a lot of action and great fight scenes might like Season II better, but I really liked Seasons I and III where Matt also used legal strategy to help fight evil. When you add the legal strategy, then yes, I think Matt is definitely the best fighter in the Netflix Marvel shows.”
Luke Cage
Luke Cage gets the fourth place spot with nearly nine wins per loss. However, the man with unbreakable skin did manage to record the most wins in a single episode.
“I feel like Luke Cage could never be the best fighter because people both avoid him because of his reputation, so he’s not going to be getting into a lot of fights because people avoid him,” Marshall said. “Or he tries not to fight because he knows his abilities could hurt people significantly more than others.”
Jessica Jones
Lastly, Jessica Jones had the worst ratio with only 6 wins per loss. However this doesn’t mean Jessica Jones is a bad fighter. Jessica Jones’ character doesn’t revolve around someone who fights often, her character is more oriented towards that of a detective.

Vaping: A Solution Turned Into a Problem
By: Mike Reina
Vaping has created its fair share of controversy since its inception in the mid 2000s.
What was originally created as a solution to battle smoking, vaping has now become an enemy to public school systems. School students have adopted the trend because it’s the new “cool” trend and the vape devices themselves are small and able to be easily concealed in classrooms, bathrooms, and hallways. School systems have tried a plethora of ways to try and stop vaping. From detentions to fines issued by the police, the problem is still present in school systems and vaping doesn’t look to be going anywhere, anytime soon.
The industry is also responsible for vaping in schools. According to TheTruthInitiative, Recent reports have found that e-cigarette companies are using scholarship offers as a way to recruit youth users. The industry also sponsors things such as concerts to attract younger consumers.
Below is an explanatory video about vaping.
